1. Information we process
When you create an account and sign in, your email address, display name, profile photo, user identifier, and authentication provider information may be processed.
As you use the service, the following may be stored: your text memos, AI journal entries (project briefs, drawing plans, and artwork feedback) and the images you upload for them, images you add to or fetch for the reference board, and your storage usage.
To generate AI feedback, plans, briefs, and feedback-based example images, the images you upload and the text you enter are sent to and processed by AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI).
For service stability, security, performance, and error analysis, technical information such as browser data, access logs, device information, usage logs, usage analytics, performance metrics, and error reports may be processed by service infrastructure and analytics / error-monitoring tools.
2. Purposes of use
- Sign-up, sign-in, identity verification, and account management
- Providing features such as memos, AI journals, and the reference board, and syncing them across your devices
- Generating AI feedback, plans, briefs, and feedback-based example images from the images and text you submit
- Processing premium subscription payments and managing storage usage
- Data storage, backup, error handling, performance and usage analytics, and maintaining security
- Responding to terms violations, abuse, and legal disputes
3. Sharing and third parties
Your memos, AI journals, and reference-board data are private by default and accessible only from your own account. CherishMap does not sell your personal information.
To operate the service, external providers are used: Firebase (authentication, database, storage, server functions), hosting (Vercel), AI processing (Anthropic, OpenAI), payments (Dodo Payments), email delivery (Resend), usage analytics and performance measurement (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights), and error monitoring (Sentry). Each provider processes information only as needed to provide that service.
4. Retention and deletion
Account information is retained while your account exists. Memos, AI journal entries, and reference-board images are retained until you delete them.
When you delete your account, your memos, AI journal entries, reference-board images, and profile information are deleted. However, information needed for backups, security logs, or legal obligations may remain for a limited period.
5. Your rights
You can view, edit, and delete the memos, AI journal entries, and reference-board content you created, and you can delete your entire account from Settings.
Requests related to account deletion or to access, correct, or delete personal information can be sent to the service operator. Requests that require identity verification may go through additional confirmation steps.
6. Safeguards
CherishMap applies reasonable safeguards such as authentication, access controls, and storage security rules. However, given the nature of internet-based services, not all risks can be completely eliminated. You must keep your password and account access secure.
7. Children and cross-border processing
Users at an age that requires guardian consent should use the service together with a guardian. Also, information may be processed outside your country as part of using global infrastructure such as Firebase, Anthropic, and OpenAI.
8. Changes
This policy may be revised as service features, laws, or operating policies change. If there is a significant change, we will provide notice within the service or by another appropriate means.
